POSITION OVERVIEW

Full Time; Hourly + Benefits
Location: Eugene, OR based is preferred: Remote will be considered for the right candidate
The marketing coordinator works with the CEO and Director of Sales and Customer Success to help develop the marketing strategy and create a marketing plan. The marketing plan is coordinated and executed by the Marketing Coordinator.
The position spans various disciplines of marketing. It is an ideal role for someone that wants exposure and experience in all phases of B2B marketing. The disciplines below are in relative order of importance.
- Email marketing (using CRM)
- Content development including blog posts, downloadable materials)
- Presentations (slide decks and material prep)
- Website updates (WordPress) & SEO (Semrush)
- CRM maintenance, ensuring that contact and activity data is captured fully & accurately.
- Webinars (slide decks, Zoom setup and marketing)
- Metrics (tracking key metrics for reporting)
- Social media maintenance
- Paid search and advertisements
- Tradeshow prep (booth design, merchandise. etc.,)
POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES
Marketing & Communications
- Create, manage & execute marketing schedule with input from sales and product teams.
- Develop & distribute content for email marketing, social media, website and ads.
- Requires interviewing customers and other stakeholders.
- Actively scan the horizon (in meetings, on social media, etc.,) for customer quotes, stories, and content.
- Create content for webinars and other presentations (for conferences, customer webinars, etc.,)
- Reach out to partner organizations to encourage them to share key marketing materials.
- Analyze results of marketing campaigns and content pieces to continually refine and improve effectiveness of future efforts.
- Maintain company social media accounts (Blog, Instagram, Facebook, Twitter, Linked In). Use social media to engage existing customers, potential customers, and industry partners.
- Setup & maintain ads on Meta, Google, etc.
- Work with outside consultants as needed
- Evaluate ad results
- Maintain & develop content on our corporate website
- Work with outside consultants for any complex coding or updates as needed.
- Present monthly marketing reports on key metrics: pipeline report, marketing analytics, website analytics, webinars, campaigns, ads
- Maintain & organize content on shared folders and systems for easy retrieval
- Maintain SOPs of key processes and tasks.
Marketing Database
- Maintain an accurate customer & prospect database

- Understand & document the various ways contacts get added to the database.

- Work across entire LFM team to ensure understanding of how their activities contribute to the database so that it is accurate & complete.

- Understand & document marketing automations
- Analyze the automations in place and make adjustments as needed.

- Requires a bachelor’s degree
- Requires experience in marketing
- Experience with CRM and marketing platforms
- Experience working with farms, food hubs, and farmers markets is preferred.
OTHER SKILLS AND ABILITIES AND REQUIREMENTS
- High level of written & verbal communications skills
- Work may be performed remotely
- Experience with B2B email marketing: Lists, development email content with clear CTA, and minimizing unsubscribes.
- Experience with end-to-end process of content development: Interviews, research, writing
- Experience with SEO: Google Analytics, Semrush, Paid Search, Social & google ads
LFM believes in an entrepreneurial culture and so we are open to a wide range of experience and skills sets that require different amounts of ramp up time and training to reach the full potential of the position. Most positions at LFM (including this one) are hourly positions, with paid overtime and benefits. The pay rate for Marketing Coordinator is starting at $25/hr and adjustable based on skills and experience.
